Just who is The Skinny Wrap Diva?

Deep question.

One that can have so many answers.

The easy description is I am a happily married woman of almost 12 years. I am very lucky b/c my husband is my partner in every way. He does more than his share around the house with the kids and the housework. Truth be told he is better than me at the housework part. He can load a dishwasher like no one has ever seen. The man has a gift for fitting things in a space just right. He has a lot of gifts but this post isn’t asking about the Skinny Wrap Diva’s husband.

I am a mommy. My oldest daughter is 8. She's been an adamant Tomboy for years. When she was very young I was able to dress her up and be girlie but once she became “recess” age there has been no point. She comes home every day with holes in her knees from playing football with the boys at school. You can’t play football in a dress so that was only for special occasions. Here lately however she seems to be stepping a little into the pink side. She told me just last night she didn’t want to wear jeans to school today! I try not to acknowledge this new found feminine side for fear it’ll vanish faster than…well something really fast. Because of her I am also a PTA chairperson, a homeroom mom, and a soccer mom. But I don’t drive a swagger wagon.

My youngest daughter is 2. She is definitely girly. Loves to dress up in my shoes and play in my make-up. She's a great twirler and loves to Zumba. I’m trying not to be too quick to dream of shopping sprees and mani/pedi’s just yet though. I fear the football gods will have their way with her as well eventually. She already knows how to get down in the football stance and tackle. She is also my first baby to embrace the terrible twos. She’s not just in it. She’s hunkered down and rolling around in it, getting its stink all over her. This just solidifies our decision that she is our last.

I am also an entrepreneur. I am blessed to own an environmental consulting business with my husband. We bought the business he was president of about 7 years ago. Monumental achievement, it is fully paid off! This business is really my husband’s passion. He is the definite expert. I can’t even go into the field, for various reasons, so I run the office. Do the accounting etc. This is funny considering the number of years I never even thought to balance my own personal checkbook.

I don’t like debits and credits.

This leads me to my own business as The Skinny Wrap Diva! I am an Independent Distributor with It Works Global. Basically I get to go around and show people how we can help them live longer and look younger. And I get to meet a lot of really cool people while doing it. This fits my social personality just perfectly. I have an excuse to have girl's night out. I am also a Chapter Leader with The Heart Link Network which is an amazing woman’s networking organization. You’ll learn more about all of that as we go along though. This post is long enough and I hear you are supposed to leave people wanting more so I think I’m gonna sign off.

Plus if I go much longer I may burn dinner.
